Day 1

Welcome! You've found the space we hope will chronicle our trip to bring home our son, Thomas Hong Xing Beemsterboer.

On Wednesday morning, January 7th, we left Chicago from O'Hare, en route to Beijing. We arrive Thursday night, local time. (14 hours ahead CST).

    The pictures are awesome! The wall must truly be incredible. I'm sure the excitement is building for both of you, because it is also building with all of us reading your blog.
